The difference: actually none. Just like the showcar, the series version features a newly developed
6.3 liter V8 engine with an output of 510 horsepower and maximum torque of 630 Nm. By comparison:
the5.0 liter V8 in the R 500 has an ouput of 306 horsepower and a maximum torque of 350 Nm.
The version with the short wheelbase accelerates to 100 in 5.0 seconds, and the 6-seater with the
longer wheelbase takes only a tenth of a second more. Both the IAA concept and the series version
have a maximum speed (electronically limited) of 250 km/h.
Power is transferred by an AMG 7G-Tronic with 3 driving programs. The all-wheel drive with a torque
distribution of 40:60 between the front and rear axles is combined with the AMG sports suspension
based on an air suspension with adaptive damping system. A high-performance braking system
ensures adequate deceleration, which is covered all-around by 20 inch alloy wheels with 265/45 size tires.
The „6.3 AMG“ lettering on the side skirts and and four-pipe rear exhaust system openly demonstrate
high dynamism. In the interior AMG offers proven traditions: AMG sports seats in the front,
nappa leather with Alcantara insets on all seats, black aluminum appointments, sports steering wheel with gearshift
paddles and combination instruments with AMG main menu and race timer.
